The Berlin Neonatology Summer School, first launched in 2012, was set up to cover this need, combining state-of-theart lectures, discussions on evolving therapeutic options, and practical hands-on skills courses.
The care of the newborn infant is an ever evolving field, and therefore neonatologists are in constant search for the best treatment available for their little patients and the evidence supporting it.
The Berlin Neonatology Summer School, first launched in 2012, was set up to cover this need, combining state-of-theart lectures, discussions on evolving therapeutic options, and practical hands-on skills courses. In 2012, the Summer School was attended by participants from 25 countries, and the number of countries rose to more than 35 in 2014.
In 2018, the first day of the summer school will be dedicated to novel therapies and rare conditions in neonatology, while the second day features workshops covering more classical topics such as surfactant administration without endotracheal intubation, pneumothorax drainage, or emergency vascular
access. Berlin is a lively city with aff ordable prices, so join us for the
3rd Summer School in 2018!
