Ambulantes Gesundheitszentrum der Charité GmbH
The Ambulantes Gesundheitszentrum der Charité GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and operates medical centers at the sites of Charité campus Benjamin Franklin, Campus Mitte and campus Virchow-Clinic. These are specialized care services for the chronically ill and patients with complex diseases.
BBG Berliner Bildungscampus für Gesundheitsberufe gGmbH
January 2020 saw the launch of the 'Berliner Bildungscampus für Gesundheitsberufe gGmbH', a dedicated education and training campus for the health care professions. A partly-owned (49%) subsidiary of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the education and training campus was developed in cooperation with Germany’s largest municipal health care group, Vivantes – Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH. The new institution offers education and training programs for the health care professions. The program of courses is delivered across three separate sites.
Berlin Institute of Health (BIH)
The Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) is a biomedical research institution focusing on translational research and precision medicine. BIH is dedicated to improving the prediction in progressive diseases and developing new medicinal products for advanced therapies in order to improve patients’ quality of life. The institute is committed to providing excellent research solutions and innovation enabling value-based, personalized healthcare. Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) in the Helmholtz Association (MDC) are independent, member entities within BIH.
Charité CFM Facility Management GmbH
Charité CFM Facility Management GmbH is a 100% subsidiary of Charité and is responsible for the entire operational facility management.
Charité Healthcare Services (CHS)
The Charité Healthcare Services (CHS) is a Charité daughter company (100%) that manages personnel services and supports the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in international patient management.
Evangelisches Geriatriezentrum GmbH (EGZB)
The Evangelische Geriatriezentrum Berlin gGmbH is a center for geriatric medicine. In close cooperation with the Charité, medical-geriatric care is provided.
MVZ Charité Vivantes Strahlentherapie
MVZ Charité Vivantes Strahlentherapie is a cooperative project involving Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and Vivantes Netzwerk für Gesundheit, which provides radiotherapy services for patients from all medical specialties.
WHS Foundation GmbH
The WHS Foundation GmbH a wholly owned affiliate company of the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The Foundation is tasked within organizing the annual World Health Summit.
ZTB Zentrum für Transfusionsmedizin und Zelltherapie Berlin gemeinnützige GmbH
The ZTB joint enterprise between Charité (50 %) and the DRK Blood Donation Service East was launched on July 1st, 2012. It is responsible for all immunohematology diagnostics from both Charité and outside referrals and operates blood banks at the three Charité clinics as well as a laboratory for tissue typing. Furthermore, the ZTB serves as the registration center for stem cell and bone marrow donors.
