The CharitéCenter 8 for Surgery located on Campus Mitte, Campus Virchow-Klinikum and Campus Benjamin Franklin offers patients the entire spectrum of general, visceral, thoracic, vascular and transplantation surgery services, in addition to urology. With the most up-to-date scientific knowledge at their disposal, all three facilities are able to carry out all conventional and minimally invasive surgical procedures.
The Department of General, Visceral and Vascular Surgery located in the Steglitz district possesses extraordinary expertise in the treatment of intestinal, gastric and esophageal diseases, in addition to metastatic surgery. The Department of Vascular Surgery treats patients with arterial and venous diseases of all kinds.
At the Department of General, Visceral and Transplantation Surgery located on the Charité Campus Virchow Klinikum, special emphasis is given to providing patients with access to complex surgical approaches in the treatment of diseases of the abdomen. The Department also has at its disposal specialists in the area of organ transplantation, vascular surgery and intensive medical care.
Located in the heart of Berlin, the Department of General, Visceral, Vascular and Thoracic Surgery provides patients with the entire spectrum of surgical treatment for diseases of the thorax and abdomen. Further fields of expertise include bariatric surgery, peritoneal carcinomatosis / HIPEC, plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as melanoma surgery.
Located at the Mitte and Steglitz facilities, the Department of Urology offers modern urological therapies for both women and men. Additional fields of expertise include tumor therapy, kidney transplantation, and plastic reconstructive urology. The Department also offers innovative procedures such as robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgery.
