iPATH.Berlin – Immunpathology for experimental models

IPATH.Berlin offers a complete immunopathology service for experimental models. Send us your tissue samples and we will process them – our services ranging from specimen fixation and slicing to staining using histochemistry, immunohistochemistry and fluorescence to analysis and photographic documentation. Depending on the nature of your experimental approach, this may be done using a blind processing algorithm. We also provide a range of devices for other Charité-based users involved in histology work.
Services on offer include:
- Specimen preparation (Sample pre-preparation, fixation and embedding, slicing)
- Immunohistochemistry staining (duplex, triplex and multiplex) of paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue sections
- Immunofluorescence staining (duplex, triplex and multiplex) of paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue sections
- In-situ hybridization (chromogenic/fluorescence) using RNAScope® technology
- Histomorphologic evaluation
- Calculation of relative portions of defined populations
- Storage of sample material
Equipment
- Vectra3 microscopy system (Perkin Elmer) for multispectral imaging including computer for analysis
- Axio Imager Z1 (Zeiss) microscope for bright-field and fluorescent imaging
- Bright-field microscope (Olympus)
- Logos One embedding machine (A. Menarini Diagnostics)
- MPS-P2 Paraffin wax embedding station (SLEE)
- Rotary microtome (Thermo Scientific)
- CryoStar NX70 (Thermo Scientific) cryostat - Cryostat CM3050S (Leica)
