China currently offers student exchange options at three institutions: student can spend one full 16-week rotation at the Second Affiliated Hospital in Hangzhou or at one of the hospitals that form part of Tongji University Shanghai; elective clerkships are available at Tongji Medical College in Wuhan.

Please note

Independently organized final year rotations at other Chinese hospitals will not be recognized by the State Examinations Board for the Health Care Professions (Landesprüfungsamt). Students on elective clerkships must ensure their certificates are stamped using a Latin script stamp. Non-compliant certificates will need to be submitted to the local embassy in Berlin for translation.
