Protecting the environment

We would ask that you refrain from disposing of your paper waste (e.g. newspapers or magazines) in the waste bin. Please keep these and hand them to a member of our cleaning staff. Small items of packaging waste, such as empty yogurt pots or fruit punnets, can disposed of by placing them on your food tray before it is collected and returned to the kitchen.

All paper and packaging waste is collected separately (using the 'yellow bin' system) and recycled to reduce resource use. At Charité, acting in an environmentally responsible manner is regarded as instrumental in preventing future health problems, and forms an integral part of company policy. You too, have the opportunity to get actively involved, and support our efforts to improve the overall environment at Charité. For more information on this, please refer to the pages provided by our Environmental Protection Officer.
