Construction projects at Charité
For more than 300 years, Charité has been a foundational pillar of Berlin’s regional health care system. Thanks to its 2030 strategy, it is certain to remain so: its future-focused approach extends into the area of infrastructure, where Charité is busy laying the foundations for continued excellence in research, teaching and health care.

Charité – Building the future
The aim of the 2030 strategy is to ensure that Charité is in a position to help shape developments within society, health care and cutting-edge research over the next few years. It also aims to establish a foundation for future infrastructure developments. This will see each of Charité’s four campuses develop a distinct, campus-specific profile while ensuring that the three clinical campuses retain their tertiary care center status. The development of outstanding thematic areas will go hand in hand with new structural developments.
A new web page, dedicated to current and future construction projects, provides further information on the structural developments planned on each campus. Discover the construction projects set to shape Charité until 2050 and go on a virtual tour of the planning and construction stages involved in individual projects.
