Facilities of CharitéCenter 3
CharitéCenter 3 for Oral Health Sciences (CC 3) offers patients the entire spectrum of modern dentistry. Each year it trains approximately 90 future dentists, who also treat patients under specialist supervision.
The Charité has been providing the highest standard of dental treatment since 1883. The scope of expert care delivered here encompasses caries management, prosthetic procedures and implant dentistry as well as surgery for severe malformations of the jaw or palate. Among the many specialized consulting services available are those for patients with handicaps, immunodeficiency diseases, muscle/joint pain in the head and neck or oral mucosal problems.
Research focuses largely on caries prevention as well as on the assumed oral-systemic disease connection.
The Center consists of eight departments located at Campus Benjamin Franklin and Campus Virchow-Klinikum.
