CCM: Preclinical site

Preclinical Studies and Research Center for neuro and immune Sciences

On the tradition rich land between the historic Children's Clinic and the Max Planck Institute for Infectious Biology we are constructing a building in which the preclinical fields in research and teaching will be concentrated. Concurrently, the Excellence Initiative's successful cluster "NeuroCure" in Charité, will find excellent conditions here. As a master plan project it was begun at the end of May, 2009 with the demolition of the old buildings. The groundbreaking ceremony with the governing mayor of Berlin, Klaus Wowereit took place on 25 September.
