Phototox

Toxicological data from in vitro tests or animal/human trials is not directly comparable due to heterogeneity of the biological test systems. It is necessary to relate those data by mathematical (prediction-) models to each other. Our main foci of attention are the development of prediction models for estimating eye irritation by chemical agents using cell- and tissue-based in vitro methods and the development of biometrical procedures (including software applications) for scoring phototoxity of chemical agents.
