Research Interests
- The computer program MetAnnoGen facilitates the reconstruction of metabolic networks. It is an information system to collect and manage data from different databases and scientific literature in order to generate a metabolic network of biochemical reactions that can be subjected to further computational analyses.
- Transient protein-protein interactions of enzymes in the context of metabolic networks.
- Comprehensive E-learning platform on Bioinformatics. The online course provides insight into standard methods of Bioinformatics. The E-learning resource has been successfully used for students of Molecular Medicine, Bioinformatics, Biophysics, Biochemistry and Biology.
- Distribution of intron-exon boundaries in genes of proteins with transmembrane helices.
- Systems Biology: Metabolic Networks
- Other Bioinformatics online resources:
- Discussion of expression data in the context of metabolic networks
