deutsch Research Center ImmunoSciences

Research Center ImmunoSciences (RCIS) was founded in July 2006 in support of one of the Charité's most vibrant research areas.

Members of the center are leading presently three Collaborative Research Centers (SFB) and two Transregios (TR) funded by the DFG and a variety of other research networks. RCIS is designed to provide space and central ressources to the most active groups in the field of immunology, immunopathology and infection, especially for junior research groups and for third-party-funded projects.

The centralization of the research groups will provide optimal opportunities for interaction and cooperation, spread of knowledge and technological expertise.

All group leaders in the above fields with research projects financed by peer-reviewed funds are eligible for membership and may apply for research space in the central buildings. Resources are distributed according to competitive, performance-based criteria.
