The 7 Tesla MRT for investigations of small animals is a Multi-User Facility provided by the Center for Stroke Research Berlin (CSB).
From the year 2010 we have to take a charge fee to cover the running costs. This regards to all research groups which are not members of the CSB. For all external groups max. 50 % of the measurement peroids are available.

MRI Scanner: 7 Tesla Bruker Pharmascan 70/16 (Bruker Biospin, Ettlingen, Germany) with a 16 cm horizontal bore magnet and a 9 cm (inner diameter) shielded gradient, 1H-resonance-frequency of 300 MHz and a maximum gradient strength of 300 mT/m. Data acquisition and image processing takes place with Bruker software Paravision 4.0.
