Basic Context of the MedSeC Project: ATM networks in Germany

High-speed network Germany (B-WIN). A backbone with a maximum transfer speed of 155 Mbit/s connects the universities in their Metropolitan Area Networks, thereby providing a fast data exchange within Germany. This graphic shows the main research centers that participate in the B-WIN.
