What is a PDF?
Adobe Systems' Portable Document Format (PDF) is a standard document exchange
format. It allows exchange of all types of documents in original color,
font and format between different computer and operating systems, without
requiring the user to have the original software in which the documents
were created.
What does a PDF offer?
PDF is a free program that allows reproduction with a variety of additional
functions. For example, you can display the text of a PDF document in
any size. In addition, your printer can print in black/white or in color
a document or a specific page, such as a particular part of the Events
Calendar or the campus map.
What is required to view a PDF?
The latest browsers already include an additional program (Plug-in) or
offer the option during installation. You can also download Acrobat Reader
