Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin
Sie wurden aufgelegt mit dem Ziel, die wissenschaftlichen und technologischen Grundlagen der europäischen Industrie zu stärken und die Entwicklung ihrer internationalen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit zu fördern. Sie sollen insbesondere dazu dienen, die stark fragmentierte und unkoordinierte Forschung in Europa aufeinander abzustimmen und zu bündeln. Das 7. EU-Forschungsrahmenprogramm hat erstmals eine Laufzeit von sieben Jahren (2007 - 2013).
