Regular medical studies program

The regular medical studies program is designed for those who wish to become licensed physicians and is divided into two study blocks that are each completed with a corresponding state exam.

The first study block requires a minimum of four semesters and primarily focuses on studies of the anatomy and physiology of heathly individuals. the second study block, which requires a minimum of six semesters, focuses on studies of human diseases.  In addition, students complete an internship year before finishing the second study block to gain insight into the practical duties of physicians.
