Public Health

Public Health is an interdisiplinary field, that uses scientific collaboration between different disciplines to find solutions for the improvement of health in society at large. Current areas of importance in the public health field include health research, social medicine, health systems, health services research and health related technology impact assessment. The Masters in Public Health is taught at the Berlin School of Public Health at the Charité and is a qualification that is relevant for careers in planning, management and implementaion of health care policy and prevention. The course is also suited for those seeking careers in research, development and evaluation of health-scientific programmes as well as for persons seeking directorship positions in the political and economic spheres of the health care system.
