International Health

The interdisiplinary field International Heath focuses on health problems arising from conditions of poverty in third world countries. Areas of focus include health care systems, epidemiology and tropical medicine as well as the economics and management side of health care. The course is integrated into the tropEd network and its mission statement is to train graduates to contribute towards the world wide improvement of health care provision in disadvantaged population groups.

Admission Prerequisites

  • Completion of a four year Bachelor course in a health care related field
  • One of the following English qualifications: TOEFL (550/213/80) or IELTS (6)
  • Applicants with work experience in developing countries will be favourably looked upon in the application process
