
Student groups (Fachschaften) organize the student representatives in the university committees and thereby ensure the student body's participation in decsions. In addition, theme-specific learning groups exist and continue to expand and develop. The student computer pools are independently administered.
All students within a given study subject create student group (Fachschaft). Often, a student group refers to those students who are active in the specific student group initiative in order to represent all student interests. A part of the student group initiative is the student group council, elected by the students. The Charité has three student groups:
