Student Engagement

Students at the Charité are also very active outside of the classroom and have started a number of initiatives. The Faculty supports these projects in terms or providing meeting space and technical support.  

Student groups (Fachschaften) organize the student representatives in the university committees and thereby ensure the student body's participation in decsions. In addition, theme-specific learning groups exist and continue to expand and develop. The student computer pools are independently administered.

Student groups

All students within a given study subject create student group (Fachschaft). Often, a student group refers to those students who are active in the specific student group initiative in order to represent all student interests. A part of the student group initiative is the student group council, elected by the students. The Charité has three student groups:
