Application

First of all, contact the ERASMUS coordinator or International Office at your home university to inquire about the opportunities and procedures.

If you are selected to go to Berlin, meticulously fill out the "ECTS student application form" and the ERASMUS Course Application and follow the instructions below. Both forms are to be completed on-screen! Don't forget to add the result of your language test (see Step 3) as well as an up-to-date Transcript of Records, signed by your coordinator.

"Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin" is the one Medical Faculty of both Freie Universität and Humboldt-Universität Berlin. We will enrol most of you at Humboldt- Universität, and some of you at Freie Universität, but this has only bureaucratic reasons and does not affect your period of study.

It is essential that your German language skills are sufficient to follow lectures and to communicate with patients. We cannot accept you if this requirement isn't met.
Please see Step 3 for information about the language test.

The most important information we need: your intended course of study. Please check the courses you would like to attend in the "study options" information, mark them in the "course application form" and attach this to the Learning Agreement.

Have your responsible ERASMUS coordinator sign the Learning Agreement. We will not process this form without the appropriate signature.

This is the "course application form" which should be attached to the Learning Agreement. The courses you may chose are described in the "study options" information. Details about the content of these courses is available at  campusnet.charite.de (in German!).
