There is a
"Wohnungsbörse" available, where Charité students who go abroad for a while, offer their flat or room.
If you want to live in a dorm, you have to apply for a room. Where you have to apply depends on in which of the two universities you will be enrolled (ask us for this information).
The dorms are located on the outskirts of the city, so you will have to travel longer distances. Sometimes the leases are for a minimum of three months. The dorm rooms are furnished, but there are no sheets or blankets. There are usually no dishes or kitchen utensils, so you have to bring everything or buy a set in Berlin. Since you can only move into the dorms from Monday to Friday (9:00 to 14:00 h), make sure that you do not arrive on a weekend or holiday.

Humboldt-Universität and
Studentenwerk Berlin (note: not all of the dorms of the Studentenwerk are available to ERASMUS students).
If you prefer to rent a room or an apartment in a private house, there are several options. It is not too difficult to find private accommodations in Berlin, for example in a Wohngemeinschaft (shared flats, mostly with other students).
