
Charité Research Organisation - CRO
The Charité has a central Medical Library at the CVK and branch libraries at the CCM and at the Dental Clinic. They all offer a wide variety of textbooks and the central and dental library also offer books covering all subjects of medicine and dentistry. The Medical Library has subscriptions for more than 4.000 e-journals which can be accessed via the WLAN at all sites of the Charité together with thousands of e-books.

In addition to the central medical library, there is a decentralized "library of Medical Humanities", which consists of the two following specialized libraries located at Charité Center 1 for Health and Human Sciences:
Library for the history of medicine (CCM), comprising a comprehensive medical history collection including an extensive picture archive and data bank. Further information can be found on the Internet site of the institute for the history of medicine.
Library for social medicine with approx. 50,120 titles, 20 reading places, 3 Internet access points and the following collective areas: Social medicine, medical sociology, medical psychology, epidemiology, gerontology, health politics, health care, health system research, psychosomatics, psychiatry, Ethno-medicine, thanatology, natural medicine, TCM, preventive medicine, geriatrics and other areas.
