Research Centers
Following the decision of the Faculty board from August 2004, research at the Charité is focused on specific areas that are characterised by joint-projects and interdisciplinary cooperations such as: Collaborative Research Areas, Transregios, Doctoral Programs, DFG Research Groups, Clinical Research Groups, Competence Networks, EU-Integrated Projects.
Since early 2007, the Charité and the Max-Delbrück-Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) on the Campus Berlin Buch have jointly operated a translational research center, the Experimental and Clinical Research Center (ECRC).
