Collaborative Research Areas

Since the end of 2004, the Charité has participated in 17 special research areas (Sonderforschungsbereichen, SFBs) of the German Research Society (DFG)- by eight of these, the Charité has named the speaker. Collaborative research areas are long-term research projects that bring together scientists from different laboratories and disciplines.
