German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG)

The German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft, DFG)  is the central, self-governing research funding organisation that promotes research at universities and other publicly financed research institutions in Germany. With a budget of circa 1500 million Euros, the DFG serves all branches of science and the humanities, especially in basic research, by funding projects (in particular, junior groups), building infrastructure, and facilitating international cooperation among researchers.
Since February 2008 Prof. Dr. Michael Fromm, Director of the Institute of Clinical Physiology, is the representative of the German Research Foundation (DFG) at the Charité. Please inform him about your application and the decision of the DFG by Email: michael.fromm@charite.de.
