Federal and Länder Funding

The goals of Federal and Länder Funding for research in Germany are in accordance with the defined research priorities and organized through designated programs, such as the health research progam. Emphasis is given to funding projects with significant potential benefit for society. In particular, interdiscipllinary projects that transcend one topic are supported. Public calls for proposals are announced to attract such grant applications.
