Registry office/Bureau of vital statistics

The registry offices (Standesamtliche Meldestelle) register all births and deaths.

To register births, please go to the office at the Virchow-Klinikum Campus, Mittelallee 9, 3rd floor, Room 3.3515 (located between stations 37 and 38). The opening hours are: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (closed between 12:30–1:00 p.m.). We can be reached by telephone at +49 30 450-570 540 / -570 550 and fax: +49 30 450 - 7 570 540 / -7 570 550. This office is responsible for all Charité locations.

To register a death, please contact us by telephone at +49 30 450 536 536 or fax +49 30 450 536 922 or E-Mail sterbefall(at)charite.de in the Pathological Institute (Campus Charité Mitte, Virchowweg 15). This office is also responsible for all Charité locations.

Campus Benjamin Franklin:
Cafeteria with hot meals, Ground floor of the main building, near Entrance West, daily 7:30 am to 6 pm, lunch 11:30 am to 2:30 pm

Campus Charité Mitte:
Cafeteria, lobby of the main hospital bed building (Luisen- / Philippstraße) Monday to Friday 6 am to 6 pm; Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 10 am to 5 pm

Campus Virchow-Klinikum:
Cafeteria, ground floor of the teaching building end of Mittelallee), Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 6 pm
Cafeteria in the Glass hall (Glashalle), Mittelallee 10, Monday to Friday 7 am to 7:30 pm; Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays 10 am to 6 pm
