
The
ZTB joint enterprise between Charité (50 %) and the DRK Blood Donation Service East was launched on July 1st, 2012. It is responsible for all immunohematology diagnostics from both Charité and outside referrals and operates blood banks at the three Charité clinics as well as a laboratory for tissue typing. Furthermore, the ZTB serves as the registration center for stem cell and bone marrow donors.
The laboratory Berlin - Charité Vivantes GmbH is in each case a 50 % subsidiary of Charité and Vivantes and provides complete laboratory Diagnostics within the patient care system.
The outpatient Medical Center in the Charité GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and operates medical centers at the sites of Charité campus Benjamin Franklin, Campus Mitte and campus Virchow-Clinic. These are specialized care services for the chronically ill and patients with complex diseases.
Since August 2009, the Charité physiotherapy and prevention center GmbH, offers, in addition to inpatient care, outpatient physical therapy centers and at the locations Mitte and Benjamin Franklin. This is a 100% subsidiary of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin.
The
Charité Research Organisation is a daughter company (100%) of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. The CRO contracts with well-known pharmaceutical companies to conduct clinical trials (Phase I-III) on promising new therapies.
The
Charité CFM Facility Management GmbH is a joint endeavor of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the service companies VAMED, Dussmann, and Hellmann. The CFM is a Charité daughter company (51%) responsible for the entire operations of the Facility Management.
The Gesundheitsdienstleistungsgesellschaft mbH is a Charité daughter company (100%) that manages personnel services and supports the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin in international patient management.
The
Evangelische Geriatriezentrum Berlin gGmbH is a center for geriatric medicine. In close cooperation with the Charité, medical-geriatric care is provided.
