Medical Direction

The Medical Director is elected representative of the clinics of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. He or she oversees patient care throughout all the clinics. The Medical Director is the contact person for questions and concerns regarding satisfaction from patients and their referring physicians- in particular, in terms of quality, organisation, and coordination of care. As a member of the Clinical Center Management, he or she provides the Board of Directors with medical expertise in strategic and operative decision-making and is involved in the resulting implementation processes in the clinics and institutes.
