Rotation Between Labs

Each fellow pursues a research project at one of the participating partners. In addition, each fellow will rotate into two complementary research groups at two of the other partner labs. The choice of the two associated groups will be determined by the needs of the PhD project. A possible scheme could look as follows: 12 months lab A - 6 months lab B - 6 months lab A - 6 months lab C - 6 months lab A.

The scientific goal of this rotation is to use both the human and technical resources available in the network to the fullest and to expose the student to the relevant scientists, research approaches and techniques in the field of their interest. In choosing the labs, working on the same problem from different angles will play a central role.
