To optimize the transfer of knowledge in the training of early stage researchers within the network, no matter where they are located, we build a web-based teaching and reference tool for the Neurosciences.
The Bochum school’s "Blackboard" serves as a model. cortex faculty and fellows make use of this innovative tool, which contains, from basic to highly specialized, the syllabi, handouts, text book chapters, as well as key papers in the field. It also contains synopses of ongoing research in the respective fields by cortex researchers, a resource which also serves to find cooperation partners and hosts for an exchange of EST fellows.
Respective experts of cortex compile, edit and update this web-based tool, coordinated by a 'Chief-Editor' yet to be appointed from the cortex faculty and assisted by editors from the student body.
