3rd International Conference “Research in Medical Education”

Evidence of Teaching-Teaching of Evidence

The purpose of RIME on its initiation in Heidelberg in 2009, and continuation in Tübingen in 2011, was to gain deeper insights into the mechanisms of teaching and learning in medicine in order to provide stronger evidence of teaching. We want to continue this tradition from 23^rd-25^th May 2013 at the Charité-Universitätsmedizin, Berlin.

At the 3^rd international conference on Research in Medical Education, the focus will be on the field of science and research competencies within medical curricula.

Over the course of the conference we aim to take a closer look at methods of embedding skills such as scientific reasoning in the curriculum. In a very broad sense this could be summarized as "teaching of evidence", the second part of the conference subtitle.

We would be delighted to welcome you to Berlin in May 2013 and look forward to an exciting exchange of ideas and to gaining new insights into medical education!
