interest

cognitive neurology, MRI, data-analysis in source localisation and fMRI, simultaneous EEG / fMRI

methods

simultaneous EEG/ fMRI, artefact correction, event related potentials, dipole source localisation.

current Research

In a recent study (my Thesis) brain activity at high spatiotemporal resolution was recorded using simultaneous EEG and fMRI. An animated presentation of the major results can be viewed here.

downloads

You can download two little tools here (visionToSPM and spm_batch), I have written to make fMRI-analysis with SPM99 a little bit more easier.
The first one converts bitmaps and orientations/positions of the raw imagefiles (*.imas) generated by a SIEMENS Magnetom vision Scanner to the file format required by SPM. The second one allows you to preprocess (slicetime, realign, normalize and smooth) a couple of subjects with the single command preprocess.
Both tools require at least matlab 5.3 installed on your computer. visionToSPM is tested under Windows but should run also under Linux. For spm_batch some small modifications will be nessicary to run under UNIX concerning system calls for copy and moving files on disk.
A detailed documentation you can found under visionToSPM-Doc and spm_batch-Doc.
